The Blog

Enchanting New England was created in 2015, on Instagram, as a way for me to share my travel and landscape photos and love of New England with others.  It has since morphed into a story of my outdoor journeys throughout New England, with a drive down the coast, a stroll down Main Street, and a tasting at a vineyard here and there.  I bring you into my world, which includes a lot of off the grid locations in New England, particularly in Maine where I spend time at my family’s camp enjoying the serene and enchanting outdoors and the presence of the abounding wildlife around me.

The Photographer

I’m Robbie; a photographer from New England. I’m a small town girl, that lives in a cow town with my Tabby cat and my husband.  My family has a camp in Maine, and I love spending time there fishing, picking blueberries, swimming, boating, searching for wildlife, taking photos, and enjoying all of the little pleasures nature has to offer.

I love reading, drawing and painting, cooking, and archery.  I also love anything that has to do with farms, and I always say, if I could, I would have a cow, goats, and alpacas running all over my property! I love mountains, lakes, and exploring the woods.  I’m completely fascinated by moose; I can’t get enough of them.  My weaknesses are big sunglasses, iced coffee, lobster rolls, long car rides, and animals.  I over-use exclamation points! I’m a Gilmore Girl addict, and love all things New England, especially Lighthouses, but much prefer the countryside of this amazing region.

My photos have been featured in advertisements, articles, and online in the New Haven Register, New Haven Magazine, WTNH CT Style, The Cheshire Herald, Hamden Chronicle, Shoreline Publishing, The Journal Inquirer Newspaper, Manchester, CT, Popular Photography Magazine Online, Schmap New York Guide.
